On Thursday, April 22, 2010, we had our open house at the centre. We had an opening ceremony to introduce the staff and programs, we gave tours of the center, had vendors, snacks and lots of opportunity to meet some new faces. We had a great turn out and would like to thank everyone that came in to see the new changes made to our centre. Miigwetch.
Gramma's Baby Bundles - On Monday, April 12, 2010 some community members got together to bundle up clothing for families in northern communities. This event was held at Rockcliffe Gospel Temple in Owen Sound. We had about 15 people come out and we made about 35 bundles. We also enjoyed a nice pot luck lunch together. Miigwetch to all the volunteers that worked very hard to make this a success.
