UP AND COMING EVENT
The Youth are eagerly waiting to start to build a wigwam in the back of MNCRC. The construction begins on Sat May 1st with the cutting and peeling of sapling. Over the month of May youth will have the opportunity to learn first hand how a wigwam is built. A special thanks goes out to Mr. Carl Sadler and the Grey Sauble Conservation for their donation of white ash saplings, and to Dr. Gino Ferri for his donation of time and expertise to walk us through this process. The Wasa-Nabin Program is looking for some of your recycled materials or items you may have that you would be willing to donate. These needed items are as follows;
· Small glass jars with lids such as; baby food jars, make up containers
· Large wooden bowls
· Milk bags
· Cotton material any colour
· Blankets
Highlight of the Wasa-Nabin Program;

On Thursday March 25, 2010 students who have been attending the drumming circle, had the opportunity to make a drum. On that day thirteen drums were made and will be kept at the school for all students to use now and in the future.
